Hi Friends! This RECIPE for Turkey Meatloaf is one that is absolutely scrumptious and can be altered for any meat eating diet- gluten free, dairy free, low sodium, etc. In this video, I will show you how to make a simple and healthy dish that you can put in your recipe book. This meatloaf is so delicious, your kids will ask for it again.
**TIP- add chimichurri on top for an extra foodgasm!
- 4 lbs. Lean Ground Turkey
- 1 C Marinara Sauce
- 1/2 C Milk *optional
- 15 Crushed "low sodium" Ritz Crackers (or other buttery cracker)
- 1.5 C Plain Bread Crumbs
- 2 Whisked Eggs
- 1/2 Chopped Sweet Onion
- 4 T Crushed Garlic
- 3 tsp Fresh Ground Pepper
- 2 tsp Himalayan or Kosher Salt
- 1 tsp Garlic Salt
Sauce for Top: Mix together until smooth.
- 1/2 C Ketchup
- 2 T Brown Sugar
- 2 T Worcestershire Sauce
I have adjusted this recipe to reflect exactly what I used in the video.
Combine all of the ingredients above into a large bowl and mix well with clean/gloved hands. Split the mix into 2 equal parts. Mold 2 loafs onto a foiled sheet pan.
Cook at 350 for 30 minutes. Remove and drain off any excess moisture. Spoon sauce over the top and cook for another 30 minutes at same temperature.
